Are you our new Graduate Installation Analysis Engineer in TechnipFMC, Kuala Lumpur?

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for a Graduate Installation Analysis Engineer who can join our multicultural team in Kuala Lumpur.


Job Purpose:

The Engineer undertaking this position will be responsible for installation analysis activities and should liaise with project team and client to develop sound and safe installation methodologies and sea states for offshore operations.

Job Main Challenges

·  Normally need to deliver installation analysis tasks on tight schedules as involvement of installation analysis engagers are after completion of design phase and any delay and change on design activities will impact installation analysis activities (all tasks to be delivered according to Project Baseline Schedule and Document Register).
·  High accuracy level in delivered analysis results required in order to develop safe and robust installation methodologies.
·  Will be exposed to practical offshore experience and best practices (will be supervised and guided) to implement these techniques into developed installation methodologies and these experiences is quite essential for this role (feedback on accuracy level of the work normally given after offshore campaign or in some cases need involvement and support of analysis engineer during offshore campaign).
·  Interface with other disciplines and giving feedback on install-ability is quite import and could be challenging.

Main Accountabilities:

· 
Analysis for the different offshore installation activities (Flexibles flow-line and risers, Umbilicals, HFLs, Rigid pipeline and Rigid Spools…)

· 
Analysis for the different activities of the subsea structure installation (Manifolds, Protection structures,PLETs, ILTs and …).

· 
Interface with project team.

· 
Offshore support for the on-going installation activities.

· 
Write technical project documents (installation engineering memo and installation analysis reports).

· 
Liaise with Project Teams for project data, installation feasibility, reporting to client.

· 
Liaise with Project Team to clarify aspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe.

· 
Liaise with Project Team and client to clarify installation analysis concerns.

Profile requirements:

Must have:

▪ Professional qualifications – Degree qualified.

▪ Relevant experience and background in Oil and Gas Sector.

▪ Competency in design and analysis softwares (i.e. Orcaflex and Offpipe) is essential.

▪ Knowledge of industry standards.

▪ Ability to priorities and organize works.

▪ Shall be self-motivated and have well developed interpersonal skills to work in a multi-cultural diverse environment.

▪ Can work to deadlines set by management.

▪ Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role.

▪ Produces work of presentable quality.

▪ Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.

▪ A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality.

Nice to have:

▪ Experience in Asia and Pacific region preferred.
