We are currently looking for a Geotechnical Engineer, reporting to the RP&IT Techncial Manager - Geotechnics.
An RP&IT Engineer is a key member of the team, seeking to use their technical and professional experience to deliver optimum solutions for both project support and R&D activities.
An RP&IT Geotechnical Engineer must be able to apply geotechnical engineering principles to the full range of offshore geotechnical engineering problems faced by the TechnipFMC Group.
Job Description
• Trenching Assessments
•Pipeline-Soil Interaction assessments to DNVGL F114
•Geotechnical risk assessments
• Site Investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required
•Subsea Structure Foundation Design (gravity base, driven pile & suction pile) to ISO, DNVGL or API standards - foundation capacity and installation design
•Provide the main link between project management teams and RP&IT.
•Ensure the quality of work issued is high and conforms to RP&IT and Group procedures.
You are meant for this role if you have:
• Ahigh quality honours degree in Civil Engineering
•A post-graduate degree or PhD in geotechnical engineering is desired but not essential.
