Graduate Program - Full-Stack Software Developer

TechnipFMC Graduate Program is a one year onboarding program. You will be assigned a personal mentor, and included in the Graduate family where you can share knowledge, information and experiences.

During the program you will be provided with a lot of relevant training and development opportunities, and also closely followed up and supported by your mentor and manager through monthly meetings.

We believe that our onboarding program helps new employees to be engaged, competent and confident.

Introduction to the Job
At the Digital Services and Innovation Center (DSI) we aim to accelerate TechnipFMC's digital transformation. We do this by infusing design thinking, agile methodologies and lean principles in our delivery. Through balanced teams (squads), often comprised of Product Manager, Digital Product Designer(s), Software Developer(s) and Data Scientist(s), we unwrap complexity, target real user needs and deliver scalable services.

Job description

As aSoftware Developer, you fulfill an importantrole within the agile development team,translating human interpretation intofunctionalcode – while continuously experimenting with different technologyandextreme programming (XP).

·  Transformuser stories into functional code
·  Advise on technical feasibility of design implementation
·  Actively contributeto high quality delivery through pair programming
·  Integrate test driven methodology in your work practices
·  Constantly reiterate based ondesign,heuristic evaluation, user feedback and testing
·  Ensure that our delivery is visually appealing,intuitive and useful

The position is based at our office in Lysaker. You are reporting operationally to the Digital Product Managerand reportingfunctionallyto the DSI Operations Manager.


You are meant for this job if
·  Have a passion for softwaredevelopmentand cloud-native services
·  Are curiousofnew technologyand methodology
·  Have a relevantdegree within technology
·  Pay meticulous attention to detail whilekeepingsight of the larger mission
·  Are familiar with modern development stack, e.g. Kotlin, TypeScript, React,GraphQL, PostgreSQL
·  Take ownership and pride in your delivery
