Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
· The development and completion of safe and operable designs in accordance with project requirements, relevant laws, regulations and codes.
· Communicates regularly with Study Manager to ensure objectives are being met in a timely manner.
· Ensures compliance with prescribed quality plan.
· Reviews all relevant discipline data.
· Helps to develop engineering solutions to specific project requirements.
· Performs simulation of selected cases as defined by Project.
· Performs critical analysis of engineering results.
· Limited support to business development activities for the Paris and other Genesis offices.
· Helps to prepare data requested by Client for approval.
· Participates in regular engineering progress review meetings, where appropriate and ensures corrective actions are taken when necessary.
· Assists in cost estimating for any changes to scope of work.
· Coordinate their training and development with the support of their Manager/Lead and mentor.
Safety Responsibilities:
· Sustain a high value Safety culture and assure a safe working environment in keeping with Technip Energies group programme and of Client requirements (in offices and on-site environments).
· To be responsible for awareness of QHSE matters on projects and their activities
Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum Master’s degree (or international equivalent) in process/chemical engineering or related degree.
· Previous experience in energy engineering would be a positive differentiator (but not essential).
Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or international equivalent) from a relevant discipline engineering institute would be a plus
Required Competencies:
· Working language for the role is English, which is essential as there is a level of interfacing with international offices (minimum TOIEC level 850)
· French language skills is not mandatory but would be a plus
· Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc)
· Knowledge of Flow Assurance principles and OLGA would be a plus.
· Some basic knowledge of software such as HYSYS, Process, OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSim, Fluent is expected
· Any previous experience in a consultancy, design house, engineering contractor or operator environment would be a plus
· Capacity to learn fast with the relevant engineering discipline simulation software
· Flexibility to work on multiple topics simultaneously
· Good communication and social skills
· Ability to work in a planned fashion
Other informations :
· The role is a permanent contract (CDI) based in La Défense. Travel regionally/foreign countries for short periods may be necessary.
· Working from home policies at Technip Energies group are considered for this role giving flexibility to employee to have up to 10 days of homeworking per month (to be validated with line manager).
· The role could involve working for short periods in client offices when required.
