Flexilay PLC Technician with global vessel experience

At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Flexilay PLC Technician to join our multicultural offshore workforce.

Job description

·  Ensure that all PLC operated control systems are maintained efficiently in a safe and operable condition in compliance with company HSE and control system management policies.
·  Mobilise, operate, maintain and demobilise Flexilay equipment (TLS, OVLS, VLS, HLS, TR Winch, carousel)
·  Familiar with the hydraulic/mechanical/electrical machinery and systems
·  Contribute as part of a Flexilay technicians team to ensure allocated tasks are completed and registered in a safe, timely and efficient manner
·  Reports to Flexilay Chief Pipelay Engineer / Technician Supervisor

You are meant for this job if you have

·  Recognised electronic, electrical or mechanical trade qualification (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, SVQ Level 3 or Equivalent) or sufficient industry experience to assure competence in the operation and maintenance of electronic control systems
·  Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement
·  Experience operating and maintaining Flexilay equipment offshore
·  Safety and Customer focussed
·  Excellent spoken and written English
