Field Engineer
At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer who can join our multicultural team. This position is mainly offshore based (worldwide) when vessels are busy, with onshore assignments.
Job description
· The Field Engineer is the point of contact to projects and operations support for TMOS/BMOS assets for the preparation and performance of operations assigned to a dedicated vessel. During field operations, he has an operational role / interface with construction crew, subcontractors and onshore team
· Provide projects with any information needed on TMOS/BMOS vessel
· Follow up the preparation and certification of marine assets in connection with the point of contact TMOS/BMOS
· Ensure effective communication between project teams and TMOS/BMOS
· Interface withvessel offshore construction team to clarify any project/tender related points
· Review project execution plan, main installation procedures and offshore schedule
· Assist in the capacity needed for CAPEX projects i.e. identifying and proposing future CAPEX for operational improvement and equipment
· Consolidate Lessons Learned
· Development of Standard Operating Procedures
· Provide support to PE, Operations Engineer, OCM and Master
You are meant for this job if
· Engineering degree
· Offshore experience, specifically aboard a construction vessel
· Rigid pipelay or flexible pipelay operations experience
· Relevant experience in the offshore/subsea industry
· Fluent English
