Scope and Responsibilities

TechnipFMC uses Smart Materials (software from Hexagon -former Intergraph- based on Oracle) to manage materials on all its onshore and offshore business projects. This system covers the workflows used in Engineering, Purchasing/Expediting/Traffic and Construction in the various Technip operating centers and is supported by a team based in Paris.

The job position is for an Engineer to support Smart Materials and its interfaces with the other applications. This Engineer will have to implement Smart Materials on projects and provide Level 2 support to the users and worldwide projects.

Main Tasks:

· 
Users' Support:

· 
Define and realizeSmart Materials implementation plan for new projects

· 
Setup of the new projects

· 
Test the new Smart Materials versions

· 
Collect the users' needs (Entities, Projects, departments) and suggest solutions

· 
Provide Level 2 Support

· 
Training sessions:

· 
Provides entities and new projects with training documentation

· 
Organise & train the superusers and new users on the projects

Training sessions may be organized in France and abroad. Punctual and short business trips in France and abroad will be necessary.

Profile :

The candidate must be an Engineer with a good understanding of the work processes in Engineering, Procurement and Construction and software applications

The candidate must know Smart Materials or be motivated to become a specialist of Smart Materials.

The candidate must know how to work easily with others in a multi-cultural environment and be service oriented. He must be motivated, reactive and be fluent in English.

The position might imply some trips for short periods.

The candidate must be recognized for:

·  ability to identify sand propose appropriate solutions
·  writing skills (answering questions, procedures, preparation of training documents)
·  interpersonal skills and being service oriented: listen and understand the needs, ensure fast and friendly service to users
