POSITION PURPOSE:
This is a position that will support the Engineering team in creation of moderately complex 3D models and 2D models and system drawings. This level position works closely with engineers and adds greater value by focusing on problem resolution, application of design drafting knowledge, and application of industry standards.

POSITION DUTIES:
• Prepare moderately complex level CAD 3D models and drawings using NX CAD software.
• Prepare moderately complex schematics using AutoCAD and or NX CAD software.
• Identify deviations from standards.
• Selects from among clear and simple choices based upon previously defined procedures and practices.
• Begins to contribute to problem resolution that results in changes and/or enhancements to process and/or project.
• Ability to take two-dimension drawing/sketches of moderately complex shapes then convert them to a three-dimensional model and detailed dimensional drawing of components, raw shapes and assemblies.
• Works closely with Engineers to create new product designs or maintain existing product designs.
• Applies basic knowledge of industry drafting standards, design and testing standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• AA/AS degree in technical / scientific field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in drafting field using ASME as Industry Standard.
• 2+ years of experience in NX Cad Software (Preferred) or similar software
• 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD Software (Preferred) or similar software
• Ability to read and understand job related documents and procedures such as schematics, mark-ups, and technical standards.
• Increased proficiency with applicable hardware, software and/or business processes used by the organization.
