DEPARTMENT:

Reports to the Deep Blue Vessel Delivery Team Manager, in the USA Subsea Projects / Operations Organizational Unit in Houston, Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for QHSE, engineering and operations for assigned Deep Blue project(s)

¡Writes installation procedures, produces rigging design, lift plans, etc

¡Interfaces with other disciplines, such as installation analysis, installation aids design, equipment settings, spoolbases etc

¡Produces packing analysis, RDT clashes, stalk sheets etc

¡Produces Material Requisitions for installation aids / services and supervises fabrication

¡Participates in mobs / demobs preparations, produces Port Call Management Plan. On site to participate in mobs / demobs

¡On board during Deep Blue offshore operations

¡Interfaces with Barge Engineer (including to ensure vessel readiness for projects)

¡Produces as built packages

¡Produces tenders deliverables such as MTO and method statement

¡Ensure all work is compliant with QHSE requirement, corporate, client and regulatory standards

¡Writes and maintains standard operating procedures and participates in improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications (Educational/Professional):

¡ Bachelor engineering degree or equivalent (Masters preferred)

Experience:

¡ Greater than 2 years' experience in the offshore/subsea industry

¡ Offshore experience, specifically aboard a pipelay vessel (preferably minimum of 1 trip onboard Deep Blue or other pipelay vessel)

¡ Rigid pipelay operations experience or Flexible/Umbilical lay operations experience

Preferred additional experience:

¡ Remote intervention operations

Training / Certifications:

¡ BOSIET offshore training

¡ OGUK offshore medical

¡ Work Safe / SEMS

¡ Safe Gulf

¡ TWIC

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office based position, with occasional offshore trips

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Frequent sitting and operating a computer when in the office.Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs / ladders while onboard the vessel, as well as exposure to sea conditions (vessel movement, summer heat etc)
