Crane Technician with global vessel experience

At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Crane Technician to join our multicultural offshore workforce.

Job description

· 
The Crane Technician will be required to take a leading role in the operation, maintenance and upkeep of vessel cranes and ancillary equipment.

· 
To offer technical advice and guidance to junior colleagues as required.

· 
Required to report to the Chief Engineer and be responsible for the maintenance of all the equipment within his control, repairs, ordering of spares and the upkeep of suitable record.

· 
Where the vessel is performing operations, the Crane Technician shall work closely with the vessel teams.

· 
Responsible for the maintenance, fault finding and repair of any installed cranes, hydraulic/electric powered systems.

· 
To become familiar with the hydraulic/mechanical/electrical machinery and systems under their control.

· 
To assist any specialist technicians onboard as required but only under instruction from Chief Engineer.

You are meant for this job if you have

· 
Appropriate hydraulic, mechanical trade qualification (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, SVQ Level 3 or Equivalent) or sufficient industry experience to assure competence

· 
NFPA, Rexroth, Crane manufacturer training etc.

· 
Hydraulic technician with experience of working on cranes or crane mechanical technician with good hydraulic experience

· 
Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement

· 
Extensive offshore experience

· 
Customer focussed

Excellent spoken and written English
