TechnipFMC UK Commercial Graduate Development Programme

TechnipFMC offers an exciting opportunity for recently qualified or new graduates to join our team in Aberdeen.

Based at our operating centre in Westhill, the successful candidates will be given the opportunity to develop their talents and work on some of the most challenging projects in the sector with direct support from a network of key mentors to help them reach their full potential.

During this three-year programme, the graduates will initially be given a placement in one of three “home” departments, (Project Contracting / Marine Operations Services / Tendering). This will then be followed by planned rotations across each of those functions with further exposure to Legal, Finance, Supply Chain and other parts of the business.

Throughout this structured programme the candidates will gain a thorough understanding of Commercial and Contractual practice, providing a great opportunity to develop a fulfilling career with an industry leader.

Project Contracting provides direct and ongoing commercial and contractual support across the full range of iEPCI, EPCi, EPC and IRM projects from start-up through to contract close-out. This includes day-to-day Contract Management and administration activities, Supplier & Subcontract management, negotiation and agreement of all variations and claims associated with both client and supplier contracts

TechnipFMC Marine Operations Services (T-MOS) manages and maintains a fleet of owned and chartered vessels which deliver TechnipFMC's world-class subsea diving, construction and pipelay operations. This includes a wide range of commercial and contractual activities from ongoing supplier relationships through to major capital expenditure contracts for new-build vessels or refurbishment.

Tendering includes responsibility through to project handover for detailed cost estimating along with commercial and contractual negotiations to win and secure business in the Subsea Sector. This also covers the full range of iEPCI, EPCI, EPC and IRM contracts.

Learning and Development

TechnipFMC's Commercial Graduate Development Programme offers a comprehensive range of training. Graduates receive regular feedback on progress and there are regular progress reviews to reflect increasing knowledge, skill and professionalism. Where appropriate, Graduates are supported to work towards a professional qualification with a mentor, and other resources are assigned to them.
