Job Title:Barge Engineer

Job Purpose: To provide support to Tenders, Projects and Operations for T-MOS Assets in subsea operations

Reporting lines and interactions:

Hierarchically reports to:

Asset Manager

Operationally reports to:

Offshore Construction Manager

Directly supervises :

N/A

Key interactions (internally, externally): Project team, Vessel Delivery Team, Offshore Management Team,Construction / Marine / ROV / Pipelay crews, Clients, Subcontractors, Asset Stream, HRBP, T‑MOS Technical Authorities, OED Technical Authorities

Job Scope:

QHSES
·  Fully familiar with processes for reporting unsafe acts, time out for safety, stop the job
Authority, TechnipFMC Behavioural Safety Observation Tool
·  Fully familiar with Task Risk Assessment and Company Severity & Risk Matrix
·  Full understanding and knowledge of TechnipFMC Permit to Work System


Main accountabilities
·  Provide support to T-MOS Asset Operations and Technical Authorities
·  Support coordination between Vessel Delivery Team and T-MOS Departments
·  Provide VDT with any information required on T-MOS Vessels
·  Assist VDT and OMT as needed during field operations
·  Assist with the preparation of Modification Authorisation Forms and actual modifications onboard the vessel with Subcontractors
·  Assist in any capacity needed for CAPEX projects including but not limited to:
·  Identifying and proposing future CAPEX for operational and technical improvements
·  Write specifications of CAPEX equipment
·  Initial design and coordination of CAPEX projects with relevant T-MOS Technical Aythority
·  Assist in scheduling CAPEX (Cost, Time, Resources)
·  Consolidate operational and technical Lessons Learned
·  Development of Standard Operating Procedures for projects and assests
·  Consolidate, maintain and develop vessel documentation (specifications, reference manuals, track records, etc)

Typical background and experience required:

Mandatory
·  Relevant Engineering Degree or similar Technical Diploma
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Package (primarily Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
·  Competent level of relevant computer skills, document control and IT methods
·  Excellent spoken and written English language


Preferred
·  Exposure to Oil & Gas Industry
·  Offshore experience (greater than 2 years) onboard a construction or pipelay vessel
·  Operational experience with SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines)


Company Required Certification

·  Valid Offshore Survival Certificate (incl CA-EBS)
·  Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
·  Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Breadth measurement
