3D Industrial Layout Design Specialist (M/F) - Lyon

About You:

Education of the IUT or BTS type, you have acquired knowledge of engineering through your previous experiences. You can justify a solid experience of the trade covering both the design of the Installations, the design of the piping routes and the routing of the cables and the design of their supports.

You like teamwork. You are dynamic, have a sense of contact, listening and compromise. You have a rigorous mind while being open to exploring new technologies.

You enjoy working with innovative 3D design and virtual reality software. Knowledge of tools such as Microstation, Autocad, E3D, S3D or REVIT will be a plus.

About the Job:

Resolutely oriented towards the development of new technologies in the fields of new energies, decarbonization and the circular economy, we are looking to strengthen our skills by recruiting an experienced 3D Implanter - F/M to join our team based in Lyon, France.

Reporting to the Head of the Installation Section, himself placed under the authority of the Head of Unit Design and Piping Department, and integrated into a team of 5 experienced people, you will participate in the development of implementation on the preliminary projects and proposals.

·  Within this team, your mission will be to carry out studies for the implementation of preliminary projects or proposals by following the rules of the trade and the rules of the contract. 
·  You will carry out these studies in close collaboration with our Process department, which will communicate to you the definition of the plant to be designed, the nature of the equipment making up this plant, their morphologies as well as their logical positioning in relation to each other.
·  Your mission will lead you to write summary notes in order to qualify the design chosen for the implementation as well as to present and explain this design to our customers. 
·  By your knowledge of the file, you will be the privileged interlocutor on all subjects relating to the activities of the Department and you will participate closely in the estimation of the budget necessary to carry out the following phases of the project.
·  In the context of proposals or preliminary projects of substantial size, you will be required to supervise designers involved in the studies of the locations.
·  Your experience in the field will allow you to be an actor in our development and you will be led to propose modifications to our methods.
