We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our NPI team at STMicroelectronics Malta for a 6-month internship.
During the internship the candidate will familiarise themselves with the NPI flow for the Qualification of new products, to enable the seamless transition of new semiconductor products from development to high-volume manufacturing. The candidate will also embark on a project to improve our report templates through automatic extraction for readily available data and PowerBI dashboard creation allowing for transparent communication amongst teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Work with NPI Engineers to support data consolidation and report readiness for multiple qualification reports; assembly reports, line stressing reports, reliability reports.
· Take the opportunity to improve our report templates through automatic extraction for readily available data.
· Create PowerBI dashboards centralizing visual KPIs from multiple reports into a single, interactive, and shareable interface.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
· Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, or a related field.
· Have good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Have a mindset of Continuous improvement & Lean management.
· Be programming oriented.
· Have good communication skills and resource management.
· Have a good understanding of Safe Working and 5S practices.
