PURPOSE

 

With the centralization of the pricing function in our A. Lange & Sohne sales team, we capture value by a proactive approach towards market-specific strategies for our timepieces. To lead this initiative to the next horizon, we are looking for a team lead to join in our Berlin office.

 

The Team Lead Business Development & Global Pricing plays a pivotal role in leading process optimizations in our supply chain and customer service approaches as well as creating a central pricing strategy for each of our product segments, in which quality defines our success as a team and company.

 

Navigating the complexities of diverse market requirements and client expectations, you will develop sustainable infrastructure for our pricing implementation and key business processes. This critical work requires coordination across various departments in our manufactory as well as market teams worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Leadership and visionary of Business Development & Global Pricing Team
·  Proactive development of A. Lange & Söhne’s pricing strategy
·  Sustainable, client-centric improvement of the brand’s supply chain processes
·  Definition of new strategies based on your team’s process and price analysis
·  Stake-holder-oriented communication of new internal and external information
·  Audience-focused tailoring of complex business cases in alignment with the brand’s strategic priorities across multiple departments

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·  Deep understanding of ERP infrastructure and corresponding cross-process requirements of product pricing and supply chain requirements in SAP
·  Excellent knowledge of MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or Google Looker as well as SAP BW or other BI systems
·  Independent, agile collaborator with leadership proficiency and knowledge transfer skills
·  Perseverant team player, strong in building positive working relationships across functional and hierarchical boundaries
·  Professional experience in sales and service of an international group with multiple years of experience in strategic planning
·  Professional experience as a pricing analyst and/or in pricing strategy formulation
·  Willingness to learn the fine watchmaking business with diligence
·  Excellent command of German and English. Other languages are a plus.
