Job description

How will you make an impact? You will:

·  Develop collections in line with the Maison vision
·  Research trends and come up with strong concepts and ideas, maintaining a unique and sophisticated aesthetic
·  Develop new designs for the main collections of the Maison, as well as for bespoke and special projects
·  Research and propose innovative ideas for impactful color and material animations, using sketching, renderings, and 3D software
·  Create detailed technical packages, including sketches, renderings, measurements and product specifications
·  Work closely with the Merchandiser, so that the range is aligned and developed as a coherent and consistent collection
·  Work closely with R&D team for research, product development and sampling
·  Actively participate in the bespoke experiences, supporting the Bespoke Manager in guiding the client
·  Support the creative side of the business across all departments

 

How will you experience success with us?

·  Relevant degree-level in fashion design or product design, preferably in bags/accessories
·  A solid previous experience in luxury leather goods design
·  Strong sketching ability, both freeform and technical drawings. Sketching on iPad ProCreate is a plus.
·  Strong skills on Adobe package (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign +++), on Microsoft Office and 3D software (Rhyno, Keyshot +++)
·  Good understanding of pattern making and soft construction
·  Excellent understanding of materials and fabrication techniques used within luxury and/or premium product manufacturing
·  Strong interest for “Mestieri d’Arte” craftsmanship techniques
·  Interest in the luxury market and excellent awareness of brands in the sector; passionate about fashion, able to identify emerging trends and interpret them; passionate about design and art
·  Detailed and results-oriented
·  Good team spirit
·  Fluent in Italian and English
