Job description
CONTEXT
We are currently looking for an Operations & Performance Intern for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible , that will be reporting to the Retail Excellence Manager.
They will be a key support for all transversal projects within the Europe Commercial team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
He/she will be offered hand-on experience in optimizing Boutique performance , ensuring operational excellence , and contributing to a seamless customer experience .
He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams , including retail, wholesale, client services, Store Design Planning , from the Head Office as well as the 7 European markets.
He/she will:
· Accompany the Retail Excellence Manager in her daily mission to centralize markets feedback and requests
· Be a key point of contact for HQ and European markets
· Be in charge of creating a referring guide for Cartier Europe Retail Operations essentials (Boutique supply orders, daily operations requirements, golden rules)
· Assist in the implementation of new retail processes and best practices
· Coordinate the Commercial Department by organizing meetings, writing minutes, following up on all ongoing projects and initiatives with the markets, and helping with administrative tasks
· Support on performance & reporting as well as Omnichannel topics, including Wholesale & external network
· Conduct mystery shopping sessions to bring valuable insights from the competitive luxury world
· Be responsible for the monthly Europe Commercial Newsletter on Worldwide news about Network evolution (boutique openings or closings), digital innovations, top management evolution, special events or client activations…
· Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements
PROFILE
· Currently enrolled or graduating from a Bachelor or Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent
· Mandatory Internship agreement from university
· Passion for luxury retail, experience in a luxury retail store is a strong asset
· Proactive mindset and solution-oriented
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluent in English , French a plus
· Ability to multitask, work with various audiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Strong presentation skills including development and delivery of various formats to executive audiences
· Strong digital skills and knowledge
