Maintenance Coordinator

Richemont | Grand Prairie, TX

 

Role Overview

Support the Sr. Industrial Engineer on any projects regarding continuous improvement initiatives related to conveyor maintenance, forklift equipment semi- automated taping equipment’s, printer maintenance or Mechanical re-engineering related projects.

 

Responsibilities

·  Perform PMs (preventative maintenance) on conveyor, forklifts and printers on a reoccurring basis.
·  Create tickets and handle calls from the operational team regarding emergencies with conveyor system.
·  Take calls with vendor to troubleshoot conveyor system.
·  Change/replace various parts on the conveyor as needed such as conveyor rollers, O-rings, belts. etc.
·  Lead conveyor housekeeping tasks such as conveyor cleanliness, labeling, and organization.
·  Responsible for maintaining stock of conveyor spare parts. (Stock level) to avoid any shortage.
·  Propose purchase orders of new parts which could be critical to keep in stock.
·  Track conveyor issues and update the issue tracker list.
·  Maintain stock of tools to allow performing interventions on the line.
·  Coordinate with vendor on all lift equipment repairs and maintenance.
·  Support engineering team with 3D printer maintenance.
·  Manage all floor tape in the facility.
·  Assist with 5s initiatives from workstation design, creating labels, and auditing.
·  Monitor and work in collaboration with the operation teams to report any adjustments to conveyor.
·  Participate in training to gain knowledge on the line and associated troubleshooting solutions. 
·  Recommend tools to increase our level of independence interventions.
·  Coordinate general vendors related to evolution of the system and associated Mechanical equipment.

 

Qualifications

·  Highschool diploma required
·  1-3 years’ work experience in a logistics or warehouse operation.
·  1-3 years’ work experience working on conveyor systems.
·  Forklift certification would be a plus.
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Continuous improvement mindset with a thirst for learning and finding new and innovative solutions to complex issues.
·  Detail oriented, analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to perform analyses and identify solutions to resolve technical problems.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
·  Ability to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment.
·  Good verbal and written communication skills.
·  Strong time management.
·  Team player attitude with the ability to influence.
