Job description
We are looking for a (Junior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) in full-time with a focus on client-related projects and tools based in Berlin with the possibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
Your mission
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our client team. In this role, you will be a key bridge between the business stakeholders, including retail, marketing, customer and after sales services and the development team, ensuring that technical solutions align with our business needs and strategic goals. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements, as well as pre-qualifying user stories. You will play a major part in supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of our CRM and Clienteling platform that enhances internal & external customer experience and drives business growth.
You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and providing data-driven insights to support the development and implementation of client-focused strategies and initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that technical solutions align with business needs.
Your tasks
· Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Conduct interviews, workshops, and other methods to gather and analyze business processes and requirements from stakeholders across the organization with a focus on client-related topics, e.g. Clienteling solutions, CRM platform enhancement
· Requirements Translation and Documentation: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, including use cases, user stories and process flows to effectively communicate requirements
· Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing business processes related to client management, client experience, and data utilization. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the client experience. Develop recommendations for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
· User Story Pre-qualification: Evaluate and pre-qualify user stories to ensure they are aligned with business requirements, technically feasible, and contribute to the overall product vision
· Technical Liaison: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively
· Process Improvement: Identify and analyze business processes, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
· Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the product owner and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
· Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation of new client solutions and CRM features and enhancements to ensure they meet the business requirements
· Provide analytical and project support for client-related initiatives
Your skills
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
· First proven experience as a Business Analyst, focus on CRM and client data platforms are a plus
· Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques
· High level of IT affinity, with a solid understanding of CRM platforms, database management, data structures a, enabling you to understand the technical implications and interdependencies of solutions beyond the front-end user experience to assess the technical feasibility of solutions and communicate effectively with IT teams
· Ability to quickly and comprehensively familiarize oneself with complex business processes
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience with process improvement methodologies
· Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, very organized and used to drive topics forward independently and in a leading role
· Customer orientation, creativity as well as an eye for detail are among your personal characteristics
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong ability in building cross-functional and cross-hierarchical networks
· Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
· Strong proficiency in English skills are required, German or French is a plus
