Job description
Reporting to the Managing Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre Iberia, will be responsible for the Marketing and Communications Strategy of Jaeger-LeCoultre in Iberia (Spain, Portugal & Andorra).
The responsibility is to create a local Marketing plan strategy following Jaeger-LeCoultre guidelines and implement it while grasping opportunities locally, and involving the corresponding teams and departments.
Plans and executes all local activities in the areas of Media, PR, CRM, POS and events within the given overall strategy and A&P budget. Main target is to create a local brand strategy to successfully support sales performance.
BUILD STRATEGIC GOALS & PRIORITIES IN LINE WITH THE MARKET ACTION PLAN
He/She has to develop the Marketing and Communication annual strategic action plan and is responsible for its implementation, in collaboration with the Communication Manager and team.
· Defines local marketing strategy plan based on objectives. Coordinates the implementation through 360 degree plans with all the stakeholders.
· Oversees and manages programs to drive sell-out in conjunction with other departments and ensures a seamless flow of communication within the network, as well as with HQ corresponding lines of International (and European) reporting.
· Permanently monitors sales performance to assure the strategy is positively supporting the network and performance is maximized.
· In depth understanding of the local market and client needs in order to identify and propose to International marketing any ideas for potential development and/or local tactical actions.
SUPERVISES PLAN IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORTS ALL DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS
· Plans, executes and controls all supportive marketing activities of our product launches.
· Defines media targets with HQ and leads the local implementation of the plan with the media and production agencies.
· Plans and supervises implementation of HQ and local CRM strategy within the network.
· Implements all merchandising activities in collaboration with internal and external staff. Is responsible for the planification, installation and ordering of the POS material to maximize brand equity standards.
· Executes all market events that may take place in the different distribution channels.
· Manages all external suppliers to the Marketing Department.
· Is aware of gathering competition and market information to share within the team.
· Is responsible for the controlling of the overall A&P budget , ensuring maximum efficiency. Reporting to finance and HQ is done on monthly basis.
· Constantly reports performances and activations follow-up at local level, providing proof of performance and at HQ level.
RETAIL MARKETING CHANNEL
· Is responsible for implementing Jaeger-LeCoultre retail excellence mindset in the boutiques. Creates and implements Retail activities (clientelling actions, partnerships, etc) together with the corresponding teams for activating the boutiques database and sales performance.
· Executes and controls HQ and local CRM strategy within the retail network.
· Motivates the retail teams to commit with Jaeger-LeCoultre retail excellence mindset and drive them to achieve the KPI’s set at worldwide level.
WHOLESALE MARKETING CHANNEL
· Is responsible for planning and implementing an annual marketing strategy per partner.
· Is in constant communication with wholesale Marketing teams for the implementation of Jaeger-LeCoultre communication tools and support.
OVERSEES COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN COLLABORATION WITH PR MANAGER
· Defines local communication objectives and closely monitors brand communication strategy is implemented.
· In collaboration with PR Manager, positively influences journalists and KOL while supporting their content needs.
· Travels with press to international brand events, Manufacture, etc.
PROFILE
** Applicants must have the legal ability to live and work in Spain.**
This position is based in Madrid and involves frequent travels within its area of responsibility as well as in Europe.
Education:
·
· Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
· MBA or Marketing Masters degree, highly appreciated.
Required experience:
·
· Minimum 10 years experience in the international marketing field
· At least 3 years experience leading a team.
Technical skills / abilities
·
· Office at professional level (daily user of excel and powerpoint). SAP recommended.
· Fluency in Spanish and English, is a must. Portuguese is highly appreciated.
· Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the marketing and communication field.
