Internship E-Commerce Trade (m/f/d)

From July 2025 for 6 months at our Headquarters in Hamburg

Indulge your passion

 

·  by providing support on weekly trade reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for sales improvement and inventory management.
·  in the operational support of our Marketing & Trade activities across various channels (EDM, VM & affiliate marketing).
·  in supporting to manage the relationship with our digital global partners for YNAP Multibrand (Mr Porter, YOOX, The Outnet) to develop annual trade, planning and marketing plans to determine growth, increase market share and visibility.

 

Trade Planning & Coordination

 

·  by assisting in maintaining the Trade Calendar to ensure alignment across campaigns.
·  in supporting the development and coordination of trade and activation briefs. Site

 

Execution & Merchandising

 

·  in updating website sections weekly based on the trade and content calendars.
·  in supporting the setup and maintenance of product carousels, category pages, and on-site search and merchandising rules.
·  in managing product pinning from email campaigns and ensure timely unpinning.
·  in performing regular stock checks to ensure availability of featured products.
·  by exploring the MeApp to gather product information and enrich on-site and email content with storytelling elements.

 

Site Hygiene

 

·  by conducting regular testing and hygiene checks on montblanc.com to identify and report bugs.
·  by raising tickets for technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
·  in the support of end-to-end testing before campaign and content launches.

 

 

Insights & Optimisation

 

·  by contributing to reporting on key performance areas such as on-site search, merchandising, and content engagement.
·  by conducting ad hoc analyses using ContentSquare to evaluate content page performance and share insights.
·  by benchmarking competitor content pages to inform and inspire new layout and content strategies.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

 

·  by working closely with UX, Data, Content, and Digital Operations teams to support improvements in site functionality and user experience. Marketplace/External Partner Management
·  by supporting on coordinating assortment plans for external online channels as NAP, MRP, YOOX and The Outnet
·  by coordinating showroom buying and order fulfilment
·  by defining marketing plans for external partners in line D2C channels

 

You’ll have

 

·  a degree in Business, Marketing, Digital/E-commerce, or a related field (or you are currently studying in one of these fields)
·  strong interest in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a desire to learn about online retail operations.
·  a good understanding or prior experience in the luxury sector, with sensitivity to luxury brand standards, tone of voice, and visual merchandising.
·  excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
·  an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights (experience with tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or ContentSquare is a plus).
·  detail-orientation with a proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
·  basic understanding of website structure and user experience principles (familiarity with CMS platforms or website testing is a bonus).
·  team player ability with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
·  comfortable  working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to take initiative and learn quickly.
·  fluent English skills
