Job description

MAIN PURPOSE .

·  To ensure timely proper reporting and compliances of direct and indirect taxes.
·  To assist Head of Accounts in computation of income taxes and transfer pricing compliance.
·  To prepare month-end management reports and assist in other reports as may be required
·  To co-ordinate for month-end closing by assisting Head of Accounts in expenses analysis, Trial Balance schedule analysis and any other ad-hoc analysis from time to time 
·  To manage the external accounting team ensuring proper handover and archival of documents

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Prepare & File Tax Returns
·  Prepare for Tax Assessments
·  GL Accounting and Month-end Reports
·  Internal control and Audit process
·  Other / adhoc requests

Technical skills / abilities

·  Good core accounting skills
·  Knowledge of ERP software like SAP FICO.
·  Audit experience is a plus
·  Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes is a must
·  Exposure to work practices in a corporate head-office preferred.
·  Knowledge of Accounting standards
