This is a permanent position based at Bracknell, working Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 22:00.

The maximum salary offered including shift premium for this role, depending on experience, is up to £50,575 for 37.5 hours per week with On Target Earnings (OTE) of £58,000+ . This is equivalent to £25.93 per hour, inclusive of shift premium.

About the role
Based at our site in Bracknell, our Technician Team ensures our fleet of Partnership Vehicles remain well maintained and road-worthy. As a Panel Beater within the team, you’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles from our 3.5 Tonne Home Delivery Vans right through to Trailers and HGVs. It will be your job to repair any damage to the vehicles and you should have a good understanding of how to carry out repairs to metal, plastic and fibreglass components as well as carrying out routine maintenance and modifications inline with the manufacturers specifications.
Our Team is growing and you’ll be working with many experienced Partners. Our current technicians will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role, giving you the opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career. You’ll also be around to help support the development of our apprentices within the workshop too. Allowing you to share your own knowledge and experience for the growth of the team.
Typical duties of a Panel Beater within our workshop

Panel Straightening and Filling
·
Replacement of Panels
·
Welding and Bonding
·
Repairs to Fibreglass and plastic panels
·
Livery application (Training provided)
·
Maintenance repairs to Trailer shutters and tail lifts (Training provided)

Essential skills you’ll need:
·
City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Body Repair or NVQ/QVS equivalent qualification
·
Full UK driving licence
·
A proven background in all aspects of panel beating, filling, fibreglassing, pin pulling, steel and aluminium MIG welding
·
A knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and road-worthiness
Other Experience/Qualifications you could bring:
·
Class 1 or 2 driving licence
·
Experience in vinyl application, Tail lift repairs, Roller shutter repair and replacement
·
Good interpersonal and IT skills
·
LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) C+E driving licence
