About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant you will offer fantastic customer service at all stages of the process, including in the kitchen in the preparation and delivery of the food. Everyone works together as a team, supporting each other and working flexibly to ensure all tasks are completed. 

You'll be involved with the preparation of food, handling stock and wastage, the emphasis always being on providing exceptional customer service.

Some of your key responsibilities will include

· 
Assisting the head and sous chef in food preparation 

· 
Maintaining a clean and organised environment 

· 
Completing daily and weekly paperwork to adhere to food hygiene and partnership guidelines with regards to food safety. 

· 
Working alongside front of house partners to offer an enhanced customer experience

Essential Skills

Ability to work as a team

Flexibility

Desirable Skills

· 
Previous commercial kitchen experience including basic preparation of food items

· 
Able to be positive in work approach and skill training

· 
Food Safety Level 2 (will be trained within 3 months).
