About the role

As Partners - members of the Partnership - it's our responsibility to ensure our success for the future. We proactively seek out opportunities to continuously improve the way we work, taking action to ensure the Partnership is efficient and we are all as productive as possible. It's an ethos each and every Partner works by and you'll carry into your own role too.

Do you love variety, flexibility and problem solving? Then come and join a unique in-house maintenance team, where no two days will be the same.

You’ll be a confident communicator able to liaise with contractors, campus management teams and fellow technicians across the Waitrose site. You'll be able to manage both preventative planned maintenance work and deal professionally with reactive calls / jobs.

As part of the role you will take on the responsibility of Duty Technician and will be the point of contact for maintenance queries on a shared basis.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll deliver a safe environment for Partners and customers, by undertaking planned preventative maintenance and also dealing with reactive situations as they occur. You’ll be proactive, reactive, and calm under-pressure.

You’ll have access to a well organised workshop space with a range of up to date equipment and a wide range of learning resources to support you in upskilling and maintaining your knowledge.
