At a glance
In this role you will collect stock from Bracknell and then install across the catchment area of John Lewis Oxford & John Lewis Reading but there will be times when you will be required to support other areas.
Salary range - £25,900.00 - £36,800.00 Per Annum

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Home Services team as a Home Furnishings Installer.
This is a customer facing role where you will be responsible for the installation of furnishing fittings (Curtains, Blinds and window dressing) and associated John Lewis products in customers homes.
A key part of your role will be to engage and delight our Customers by delivering market leading customer experience. You will add value to the efficient and profitable running of your operational area in order to achieve your business and personal objectives, along with those of your team, Region and wider Home Service operation.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for carrying out the fitting of window dressing products (curtains, blinds and associated products such as poles and tracks).

You will use your skills and expertise to deliver high quality installation standards, ‘Right Fit First Time’.
·
You will be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, working in customers’ homes, bringing to life our values and delivering a consistently exemplary customer experience.
·
You will be responsible for providing accurate error free work, demonstrating excellent communication skills and offer advice, demonstrations and recommendations to meet the customers needs.
Essential Skills you will need:

IT literacy

Communication skills

Confidence working independently

Full clean driving licence
You will be required to occasionally visit a John Lewis branch to ensure you are up to date with your product knowledge.
This role is subject to the following pre-employment screening: 3 year references. Basic disclosure. DVLA check.
