Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to showcase your creativity across two renowned hotels in Amsterdam?
Join our team as our Marketing Trainee!
As a Marketing Trainee, you will be part of our Cluster Sales & Marketing team, supporting the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator in daily operations to position our hotels effectively in the market.
Your tasks
· Monitor, evaluate, and ensure consistent implementation of the brands identities across all marketing activities, communication channels, digital platforms, and promotional materials.
· Manage and curate engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
· Monitor social media trends and stay current with industry developments.
· Track social media performance through analytics and recommend optimizations.
· Engage with our online community by responding to comments and building relationships.
· Upload new content to Hyatt systems, including Hyatt Brand Manager and ICE portals.
· Update information on third-party websites (e.g., CVENT, OpenTable).
· Respond to online reviews and engage with our audience.
· Maintain and grow the hotel's newsletter database through creative initiatives.
· Support the creation of marketing content and collateral using design programs like InDesign.
· Assist in planning and executing marketing events, from booking entertainment, plan photoshoots and ordering décor to designing promotional materials and coordinating internal communications.
· Keep up with emerging social platforms and marketing best practices.
· Attend and prepare for (internal) marketing meetings.

Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, or Marketing-related study.
· Affinity with the hospitality industry.
· Confident, energetic, and quick-thinking.
· Team-oriented, approachable, and detail-focused.
· Comfortable making decisions independently.
· Eager to learn and take a hands-on approach.
· Social media savvy and up-to-date on the latest digital trends.
· Creative with a knack for out-of-the-box thinking.
· Experience with graphic design programs like InDesign (preferred).
· Available for a minimum of six months.
· Proficient in Dutch and English.
· Legally permitted to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch institution). Visa assistance is not provided.
