The stylish Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House London Stratford are set in the heart of Westfield Stratford’s urban shopping and entertainment complex. Featuring 352 sophisticated rooms, the hotel is within walking distance of the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London Stadium, home of West Ham Football club.

With 11 versatile meeting and event spaces, the hotel is perfectly equipped to host a variety of functions, from corporate meetings to social celebrations.
Duties and responsibilities of the Head Chef role include
· Lead the Culinary Experience: Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, you will oversee all culinary operations, including All-Day Dining, Bar, Events, In-Room Dining, and Colleague Dining, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for our guests in collaboration with departmental leaders.
· Drive Excellence: Uphold and implement brand standards, inspiring your team to consistently deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations.
· Cultivate Culinary Talent: Lead the recruitment, selection, and development of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of growth through training, coaching, and mentoring.
· Maximise Revenue and Manage Costs: Collaborate with department heads to optimise revenue and manage costs effectively, driving profitability across all culinary outlets.
· Strategic Planning: Coordinate and prepare the Annual Business Plan for the culinary division, ensuring alignment with the hotel's overarching goals.
· Stay Ahead of Trends: Analyse market trends, evaluate competitors, and engage with vendors to ensure the hotel's offerings remain innovative and competitive.
· Enhance Guest Satisfaction: Work closely with leadership and management teams to ensure the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of every guest.
About you
Ideally, you will bring hotel and M&E experience, a proven track record of creativity and delivering exceptional guest experiences, the ability to thrive in a busy operational environment, and a hands-on approach to leadership.
