Now we are looking for a highly motivated, solutions oriented – Manager Event Planning with exceptional leadership skill, who can inspire our team to achieve their goals and consistently exception at Grand Hyatt Bali.
As Manager Event Planning responsible to smooth and efficient of the Event Planning department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services function of the hotel. This position will typically be required to carry and achieve a quota and service groups. The ideal candidate will have Event Planning experience and have a keen eye for detailing.
As an Manager Event Planning, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Event Planning and below are some of the key responsibilities:
· Oversees and assists with all aspects of an event from pre-planning, determining resource needs, pre-event marketing, and on-site coordination, to post event follow up
· Coordinate with vendors, associates and groups to ensure successful events
· Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation
· Develop event concepts and themes to separate us from our competitors.
· Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and increase attendance/ bookings
· Work with the event service and culinary team to ensure brand standards and improvements in the long run
· Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements related to events based on government requirements.
· Track and evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for improvements
· Create detailed P&L sheets for each event (pre and post) to optimize productivity and GOP
· Assists in site and vendor selection and negotiating the best possible rates and terms
· Develops effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Supervises staff at events, assign duties, and provide general direction
· Conducts post-event data and strategic analysis to inform future events.

Desired profile
Qualifications :
· 3 years or more of progressive hotel Event Planning experience (typically with Hyatt)
· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
· Candidate should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
· Creativity and innovation in developing event concepts and themes
· Produced that support revenue goals of the hotel and outgrow the competition.
· Ability to manage multiple task and projects simultaneously.
· Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Comfortable with sales and revenue systems/programs and must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel platforms
