Job description
As the Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant Manager, you will oversee the resort’s digital marketing strategy, enhance brand awareness, and craft engaging content that reflects the Alila ethos. You will play a pivotal role in driving online traffic, increasing direct bookings, and positioning Alila Kothaifaru as the premier luxury destination in the Maldives.
Responsibilities :
· Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the resort’s business objectives.
· Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
· Manage the resort’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) with a focus on engagement and growth.
· Create, curate, and schedule compelling content showcasing the resort’s offerings, experiences, and unique selling points
· Engage with followers and respond to comments and inquiries promptly and professionally
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and written content.
· Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s standards, and luxury positioning.
· Oversee the resort’s website, ensuring an optimal user experience and up-to-date information.
· Implement Search Engine Optimization ( SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
· Monitor the performance of digital campaigns and social media metrics using analytics tools.
· Prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
· Partner with influencers, bloggers, and travel platforms to promote the resort.
· Build relationships with external agencies for campaigns and paid advertising.
· Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, social media, and other relevant platforms to drive direct bookings.

Qualifications :
Requirements :
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.3+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in luxury hospitality.
· Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click advertisement ( PPC), Google Analytics, and social media metrics.
· Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
· Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
· A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with the ability to capture the essence of luxury.
· Passion for travel, luxury, and creating unforgettable experiences.
