We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Portfolio Management Support .
Principal responsibilities
· Take action on Portfolio Managers' instructions on trades and fund transfers and prepare orders files for all products
· Build in and maintain an Excel or Macro as an order planning tool in both equity, Excel or Macro Spreadsheet and bond, Bond Matrix
· Responsible for pre trade control regarding available cash and holding positions
· Ensure that there is no short selling, available cash is sufficient before placing the orders, clients special guidelines are not breached and the orders are in full compliance with internal and external requirements
· Meet dealing cut off times for various markets
· Arrange Foreign Exchange to fulfill trade settlements before value date according to different requirements in different markets
· Inform and update portfolio managers about all incoming and outgoing funds
· Liaise with portfolio managers for the acceptance of securities regarding securities transfers to new accounts and liquidating accounts
· Order inputs with allotments on the system
· Work with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers for partial or full redemptions
· Upload or place internal cross trades on the system and to confirm settlement date with settlement team
· Liaise with portfolio managers for corporate action events which investment decision is required
· Notify the relationship managers for other type of events when necessary
· Coordinate programs rebalancing
· Work with Information Technology team for system enhancements
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Requirements
· University degree in business or equivalent
· Type 1 license holder is preferred with experiences in dealing in securities
· Strong Excel skills and attention to details
· Team player
· Fluent in English and Chinese
