The Regulatory and Controls Manager role will be part of the US Technology Regulatory and Controls team within the US CIO office. This team supports regulatory examinations, controls assessments, issue management and other BAU activities. They are responsible for reviewing and approving regulatory submissions including ad hoc requests, responses to examinations, and producing monthly/ quarterly meeting materials. Additionally, this team is responsible for ensuring US Technology controls assessments are completed on time and accurately. This person will work closely with the wider technology teams, RLO, 3LOD, 2LOD and CCO to ensure regulatory submissions are accurate and consistent across technology, controls are assessed appropriately, and issue remediation is managed.
As our US Technology Regulatory and Controls Manager you will:
· Submit US technology regulatory responses, including to senior management for approval
· Manage technology owned regulatory examinations, and participate in non-technology owned regulatory examinations
· Work with teams across technology to produce regulatory materials (including meeting presentations, board papers, etc), ensuring that the content is clear and consistent across the multiple presentations/ papers.
· Manage regulatory, 3LOD, and 2LOD deliverables proactively, balancing scope, schedule, dependencies and communications
· Adhere to standard framework and controls driving teams to achieve compliance
· Operate technology owned regulatory controls and complete required monitoring activities
· Partner with senior management across technology to identify risks and improvements to the control environment
· Maintain and continuously improve governance and maturity levels for the technology controls assessments and ongoing monitoring
· Work closely with global CCO team to ensure US technology controls are monitored on a regular basis and the appropriate controls assessments are completed on time
· Ongoing review of KCIs, issues and trigger events related to US technology controls and advise US control owners and delegates of potential impact to US risk and control environment
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $138,400.00 and $200,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
· Excellent verbal/ written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports for targeted audiences across internal and external stakeholders independently
· Prior experience in Software Development, Information Technology industry preferred including NIST framework and FFIEC
· An advanced/ extensive expertise in Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
· Highly organized and able to shift focus, priorities, and activities quickly.
· Detail oriented to be able to ensure regulatory submissions are accurate and consistent across Technology.
