We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Innovation Banking Business Management .

Principal Responsibilities

Innovation Banking (IVB) provides specialized financial services solutions and innovation eco-system connections that support various stakeholders of the eco-system to grow. Leveraging the strength, scope and expertise of our global product network, Innovation Banking is positioned as an essential partner and centre of the innovation eco-system to all the players of the eco-system maximize their potential internationally, offering streamlined business access to HSBC’s international network and broad range of market leading banking products and services.

In this role you will: 

·  Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with global Innovation Banking strategy
·  Drive formulation of business plan and initiatives that drive sustainable revenue growth, superior customer experience and frontline team’ satisfaction
·  Analyse key trends, opportunities, and threats, diagnose performance gaps, recommend, drive and develop action plans to address issues, and provide strategic advice to management
·  Deploy effective analytics and sales tools to identify business insights to enhance segment prospecting capabilities for cross-selling and value growth
·  Work with key stakeholders to promote Innovation Banking business profile
·  Champion the people resource management process for business together with Human Resources
·  Champion strategic cost management through monitoring and analysis of cost drivers, and developing measures to improve cost efficiency

Requirements

To be successful you will need: 

·  Substantial experience in Commercial Banking or Risk, and solid exposure in Global Trade Solutions, and Global Payment Solutions
·  Knowledge and understanding of the innovation eco-system in Greater China
·  Capacity to work with and present to a variety of levels including senior executives.
·  Ability to develop, direct and implement business plans and strategies.
·  Good analytical and financial skills
·  Adaptable and flexible approach, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
·  Ability to coordinate and control a wide range of activities and make decisions independently
·  Fluency in English and Mandarin
