Unsecured Lending and Payment

Principal responsibilities:

·  Maintain effective risk and control management within Unsecured Lending & Payment as the First Line of Defense to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank
·  Lead on-going control monitoring activities by performing risk and control reviews and implement appropriate control measures to ensure adherence to Group policies, regulatory requirements and guidelines
·  Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the proper and timely recording and reporting of operational risk issues and their corresponding management action plans
·  Perform gap analysis and propose control enhancements in response to internal review findings, business initiatives and policy updates
·  Promote operational risk awareness and act as a subject matter expert to provide advice to business teams on governance, risk assessment, internal control design, implementation and oversight
·  Keep abreast of relevant group guidelines as well as regulatory requirements, and identify their impacts and necessary controls on end-to-end business process

Requirements

·  University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications, such as Associate Operational Risk Management Professional (AORP)/ Certified Operational Risk Management Professional (CORP) is a plus
·  Proven exposure on retail banking, operational risk management, regulatory compliance, internal audit or other related areas. Knowledge on unsecured lending, credit card and payment is an advantage
·  Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
·  Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
·  Ability to communicate effectively with proficiency in both English and Chinese
·  Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and problem solve in a dynamic environment
·  Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
