We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Internal Audit - IBCN-COE-IA.

Principal responsibilities

·  Perform continuous monitoring of the business.
·  Participate or lead the delivery of audits, which provide stakeholders with critical assessments of the HSBC governance, risk and internal control frameworks. Based on work performed, draft audit issues and report which articulate key issues and risks, and identify root causes. 
·  Support the wider Internal Audit function on departmental work and key initiatives.
·  Develop the use of data analytics to enhance coverage and efficiency.      

Requirements

·  Working experience in financial services industry, with knowledge or expertise on relevant businesses and products and the respective regulatory framework.
·  An analytical thinker who is confident approaching areas outside of expertise in a thorough and detailed manner, getting to the heart of the key features and aspects quickly
·  A solid team player, with a demonstrable desire to help the team achieve its objectives
·  Dedicated to continually learning and improving skills, which could be demonstrated by holding relevant professional qualifications such as in accountancy, finance, or risk management, but also keeping up to date with developments in the banking industry, across markets and regulations
·  Excellent written and spoken communication skills, both in Chinese and English, an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
·  Planning and prioritizing projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques.
·  Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, lateral thinking and interpersonal skills.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
