Cybersecurity Analyst

Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC's global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world's leading international bank.
Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.
We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.
HSBC have identified that we have a requirement to expand the existing Cyber Security team and would welcome the opportunity to work with enthusiastic people who have an interest in security and learning about an exciting platform that runs the banks financial systems. The roles are important to the existing team as it will help bridge the gap between certain technologies. As such the roles will be well supported with training and mentoring as we build, together, the future of our banks cyber team.
We are looking to invest in a new training programme built specifically for these roles. This exciting opportunity would suit people interested in technology and cyber security.
Alongside all of this there is a dedicated mentor who will work with you day to day and provide on the job training in addition to a comprehensive cyber training programme.
The training that you will receive will provide many professional qualifications and can be converted into RLP – recognised learning points – and at the end of the training you can enrol for a top up degree.
