We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

·  Responsible on QA deliverables, and manage the associated stakeholder communication.
·  Analyze business requirements, scope, to identify testing needs and approach
·  Liaising with product owner and developers for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria and testing scope
·  Design and architect the best-fit testing mode and solution under well-defined strategy
·  Prepare testing schedule and related testing activities while identifying and resolving all potential risks and issues
·  Coordinate with various participants and teams to prepare test cases, data set-ups and test environments
·  Monitor, drive and report testing progress through test metrics; keep project stakeholders informed of issues and risks
·  Coordinate with relevant teams for test data creation; develop automated data generation solution when needed.
·  Collect quality relevant data, conduct the data analyst and publish the MI report accordingly.
·  Drive test efficiency and quality improvement activity in the project teams
·  R&D on emerging testing approach and facilitate training/implementation cross internal teams
·  Create or reinforce testing standard and testing coverage with implementation in the team
·  Testing framework development and continuous improvement
·  Connect with industry emerging technologies and make adoption to solve testing difficulty
·  Optimize testing approach and make test automation be best utilized to achieve test efficiency and being the gate keeper on CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

·  Strong Oral and Written languague skills (MUST be able to speak English clearly for collaboration or presentation)
·  Hands on experience on coding like using Core Java/Python, Maven
·  Solid test automation skills with REST-assured, JUnit, Selenium/Appium, Cucumber, REST-assured, QTP, TOSCA, XFramework.
·  Good Understanding of HTTP, RESTful, JSON protocol and syntax.
·  Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML/OAS Specifications, Message Request-Response mechanism
·  Good understanding of cloud architecture (preferably AWS) , Kubernetes and Docker capabilities
·  A solid understanding of modern testing methodologies and strategies (TDD/BDD/risk based testing)
·  Have a good understanding of the test process and testing knowledge.
·  Good understanding on test pyramid quality model.
·  Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
·  Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
·  Working experience in Agile methodology / SAFe with ‘in-sprint’ automation
·  Able to work independently and effectively under pressure

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

·  Able to use mock/stub technology to remove testing dependency.
·  Understanding of high concurrency micro-services architecture
·  Understanding of any API products like Mule and Kong
·  Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements domain knowledge
·  Testing experience / development working experience on mobile application will be a plus, e.g. (Android, iOS, WindowsPhone)
·  Hands on experience on API development under Spring Boot, Mulesoft, Swagger, Node.js will be helpful.
·  Programing skills with nodejs, python, AI/ML, data analytics will be a plus.
·  Understanding typical cloud infrastructure like AWS, Cloud Foundry, Docker, K8s.
·  Working in a global team with different cultures
·  Experience on Solution/Enterprise architect, or FOSS, Comet, and EIM would be a plus.
·  Understanding on DevOps would be a plus, e.g. automated build, automated provisioning, automated deployment
·  Using Generative AI to improve coding efficiency
·  Certificate on ISTQB, PMP, AWS/GCP/AliCloud will be helpful.
