We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the product team in the role of Product Manager, Global Money and Payments CIIOM .

Made up of 2 brands, servicing international expatriate clients (HSBC Expat) and local customers across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, the CIIOM business is today responsible for over 150k customers. As a strategic provider of liquidity for the non-ring fenced bank, as well as being recognised as a priority international market within the global WPB strategy, the CIIOM business is at a critical point in its growth story. .

In this role you will:

·          Driving the development and launch of new Global Money and Card product infrastructure, systems, projects and initiatives, in order to grow key market segments and achieve business growth objectives.

·          Support the strategic vision, delivery and ongoing commercialisation of new propositions.

·          Work with colleagues in the Group FX and Payments Value stream on strategic deliverables and updates for our market for Global Money.

·          Driving product and proposition development, pricing, retention, service, communication and product management across both Expat and Domestic brands. 

·          Ensure that products and services are designed and implemented in line with the letter and spirit of regulation to ensure world class management of Conduct Risk.

·          Partner with Risk colleagues to identify opportunities to support growth through controlled policy expansion.

·          Drive streamlining activity to deliver better, more efficient products and services, engaging business partners across multiple supporting functions to deliver better journeys and fair outcomes for customers. 

·          Establish a close working relationship with stakeholders and delivery partners, actively managing dependencies between teams and other projects and programs.

·          Ensure that all FX and Transactional Banking policies and processes are fair, compliant, customer-centric and commercially sustainable across all stages of the customer life cycle.

·          Leverage the digital development agenda to support new business origination and customer journey optimisation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·          Experience within Product Management, Product and Proposition Development and/or Project Management

·          Proven strategic development abilities

·          Experience or understanding of the challenges of a cross-border, international distribution model

·          Experience in development and implementation of policy and procedures

·          Strong analytical, planning, organisational and time management skills

·          Strong numerical and analytical skills with a strong emphasis on problem solving and strategic thinking

·          Customer focused individual

·          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with particular emphasis on stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating at all levels.

This role will be based in Jersey.
