Danone Service Delivery Center- Kuala Lumpur (SDC-KL) is seeking for Senior R2R- FC Specialist based in Malaysia. Reporting

·  Circulate and highlight (any new/change) reporting instructions circulated by the Group to Finance team.
·  To ensure financial reporting processes are compliant with the group core model and with the local rules.
·  Prepare Group monthly reporting and bi-annual consolidation packages on time and correctly.

Month End Closing

·  Plan and animate the General Accounting closing activities.
·  Execute the closing options validated by the FBS Finance Director.
·  Send closing timetable and manage the closing activities according to timeline set.
·  Coordinate the closing activities with other functions.
·  Post journals on time and accurately.
·  Ensure that the Intercompany processes implemented in the CBS are fully compliant with the group core model (for goods, services and L500).
·  Support the R2R FC Manager  to ensure that all intercompany positions are reported on time and in full,  and that all remaining discrepancies are fully explained (eg. forex difference).

Preparation of Financial Information

·  Prepare all financial information strictly in line with the accounting records.
·  Generate and prepare financial reports for analysis purposes.
·  Provide actual financial information to internal stakeholders when required.
·  Prepare balance sheet schedules.
·  reconcile between sub-system to GL account.
·  ensure other BS accounts are justified.
·  follow up closely with open items.
·  review aging of accruals and challenge business owners on the validity of the accruals.

Audits & Preparation of Financial Statements

·  Ensure the statutory accounts of CBU are fully compliant with the local reporting rules.
·  Prepare the financial statements for local / legal requirements (e.g tax, Pension trustees, minority shareholders, etc.)
·  Provide accurate financial data to auditors.

Accounting

·  Ensure that the General Accounting activities performed in the cluster are compliant with the Group core model and with the local rules.
·  Perform integrity checks of interfaces fueling the accounting system.

Fixed Assets

·  Execute day-to-day Fixed Assets accounting activities in accordance with the Group accounting policies & procedures, and local regulations. These activities may include: creation, write off, transfer, depreciation, investment order validation, capex calculation, etc.
·  Monitor and update on  Assets Under Construction very closely.
·  Support the R2R FC Manager to ensure that all fixed assets information is properly reported (eg. roll-forward of fixed assets).
·  Assist in physical inventory of fixed assets process that takes place every 3 years.

About you

• Education: Bachelor Degree, majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business

• Experience (in years): At least 4 years in accounting or reporting related function for multi-national companies

• Good command in both speaking and written in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially at Excel, Word & PowerPoint etc.

• Experience with SAP will be preferable

• Self-motivated, passion, high integrity and able to work under pressure

• Be efficient and pleasant in working through others, good team management skill

• Results-oriented and desiring for personal growth and achievement
