What You'll Do:

Cisco seeks a Territory Account Manager in Northern California to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships This territory extends throughout Northern California focusing on accounts 2000 employees and below. You will be leading +15% growth in a commercial territory utilizing channels to market distribution model.

  • You have 3+ years of being one of the top sales professionals in their organization.
  • You will target market opportunities and use available resources to build a new business portfolio while also showing your sales penetration within a target account list of 100+ existing customers.
  • To ensure market share growth, you will build the appropriate channel coverage model of partners in their markets.
  • Ideally you will have experience in enabling market growth by utilizing marketing resources and improving the skill set of partner inside sales reps.
  • Acting as a virtual Regional Manager to their partners and inside sales team; you will also be responsible for planning and execution for partner engagement and you will accurately report sales activity to Cisco management.

Who You Are:

You bring strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the Cisco installed base.

  • You have consistent record of success running a large territory, demand generation, partner development, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, communicating business transformational solutions via sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management.
  • Your ability to deliver business value to both End Users and Partners is second to none.
  • You possess a strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand the customer's business drivers and align to Cisco solutions.
  • You demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
  • You are an aggressive self-starter with ability articulate Cisco product and business strategies and create the demand to close the deal.
  • Expectation is that you bring at least 3 years of shown success in outside sales. Experience selling Unified Communications and/or Data Center/Virtualization/Servers Solutions, Security, Enterprise Networks and/or knowledge of the business partner community/customer base preferred.
