What You'll Do
Cisco Strategy & Business Acceleration seeks an Executive Assistant in San Jose, to provide support to the Vice President, Operations Strategy. The Executive Assistant will be extremely proactive with a professional, courteous and approachable demeanor in all interactions. You should possess superior interpersonal skills and will engage at all levels of staff, customers, vendors, etc.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated, highly organized, administrative professional! The main responsibilities of this position will be to undertake all administrative requirements of this role, understanding the responsibilities and motivations of the organization's goals and objectives in order to complete tasks on their behalf. This individual is expected to use discretion in handling details of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. Work requires initiative and independent judgment. Individual will prepare sensitive information for use in discussions and meetings within the organization and with outside individuals. The person hired into this role must be a team player who is proactive, cooperative, collaborative, and flexible. Individual should look to identify process improvement opportunities, love to learn new skills and has a positive mindset. Other expected qualities include: integrity, poise, high energy and a strong sense of urgency, acting as an extension of the leadership team. Individual expected to seek proactive and creative win/win alternatives for leader and key stakeholders, constantly assessing changing priorities and complex schedules.

Minimum Qualifications
2-3 years of experience supporting at the Executive level working in administrative environment or combination of education and experience.
Ability to function in a very high paced environment.
Experience in planning meetings and coordinating travel.
Ability to format presentations
Ability to multi-task.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent communication, organization and results driven skills.
