The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing consulting and advisory to strategically plan and proactively meets the people and talent needs to support business momentum and growth. To understand Chanel’s business and its competitive landscape within the industry, to anticipate, advise and implement on workforce demand and supply, industry trends and best practices.  

 

Given the context of an ever-changing landscape, he / she should anticipate future needs and manage change effectively. Nurture and engage best talents and leaders to realise Chanel’s priorities. Be able to build trust and strong partnership within the Division, effectively represent business needs to obtain stakeholders’ buy-in and collaborate with other P&O and/or corporate functions to synthesize and integrate diverse perspectives to drive optimal solutions. He / She will also be responsible for organising, orchestrating and deploying relevant P&O teams and expertise to support quality delivery of proposed solutions, to achieve maximum human resources performance for best business achievement.  

Impact you can create in the role  

Act as a trusted advisor, thought partner and sounding board to the market division leaders to address challenges, both business and people:  

· 
Drive change management in view of all business and people initiatives and mobilise relevant resources to deploy appropriate action plans. Define holistic change management project plans in view of strategic business and people initiatives and to ensure deliverables are met in a timely, effective and appropriate manner.  

· 
Be the custodian of divisional talents, facilitate and orchestrate the talent management and development process to identify high potential talents and ensure viable talent pipeline and succession plan for leadership and critical roles in accordance with Chanel’s talent philosophy and framework.  

· 
Orchestrate the people agenda based on strategic priorities for the divisions concerned within the People and Organisation ecosystem of market P&O Lead / HRBP, P&O CoE and business services (HR) leads in collaboration with the business divisions to ensure the right impact is achieved. 

· 
Designated point of contact with divisions leaders to coach and advise on people agenda, performance and development matters, team management, local compliance and governance matters.  

· 
Share regular external market insights and internal people data / trends to facilitate decision making around our people.

Developing strong knowledge across business and engaging with the respective leads and their teams from the building of functional strategies to the formulation of the people strategies to actualise their mission.

Formulating HR / Organisation strategy with good holding in strategic workforce planning and organisation design to build the divisions for the future.

Creating impact on the organisation ecosystems at market and level, taking the overall mission of the House into account.

Solid organisation, culture and people experience gained from sizeable multinational, matrixed companies with recognised people practices. 

· 
Strong business acumen and sensitivity to changes in the external business, economic, people & technological environment combined with strong data analytics and a decision-oriented mindset.

An innovative mindset, able to demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking with the courage to experiment and test new ways of doing things.

A seasoned driver of organisational change and business transformation in partnership with business leaders and able to collaborate well with various partners within a matrix organisation.
