The Head of Retail - East Region will be responsible for guaranteeing the brand’s unsurpassed standards of customer service, maintaining brand image in all East boutiques at all times, overseeing retail operations to ensure business targets achievement, planning potential Distribution expansion efforts in the Region while being committed to employee’s personal growth and professional development.

This role requires a strategic people leader with a deep understanding of the luxury market and a proven track record in retail management, reporting to the Fashion Head of Retail & Business Development, Mainland China

A PEOPLE LEADER – Enabling & Empowering Senior Boutique leaders (30%)

·  Elevating Retail team well-being with people at heart, through people care, engagement, RSO, Flexibility @ retail…
·  Continue building Talent Eco-system focusing on Engaging & Developing HOB/ARM as Business owner of their own Boutique & accountability of their boutique performance while developing them through Regular IDP discussion & resources alignment to support their growth.
·  Reinforce Retail leadership talent pipeline developing key DHOB talents for Key roles in East Region & Nationally
·  Inspire a high performing Retail team, leverage & improve Commission scheme, reinforcing performance management & differentiation culture to drive Retail team performance at larger scale.
·  Bridge people development resources to develop Boutique Management team & FA capability elevation

A BUSINESS PARTNER - Orchestration beyond Retail with 3 layers of stakeholders (30%):

·  Act as the informal leader for Regionalization structure ecosystem driving East region priorities & collaboration between Expertise x Boutiques
·  Drive & support Retail & Business priorities through Project Management to orchestrate cross department resources to be implemented in Boutiques while building East Region communities.
·  Bridge between strategic direction from ML China & North Asia Fashion office Headquarters to implementation in the Boutiques while driving Retail strategy deployment with high agility.
·  Engage Office Corporate Departments to ensure Fashion Retail m atters are considered a priority

A STRATEGIC & VISIONARY LEADER (20%)

·  Co-create China Fashion long-term Retail strategic plan including defining goals, plan & resources needed
·  Deepen HOB understanding of China Fashion Retail strategic priorities & the 4 key pillars: Organization & People, Brand leadership, Service & Client, Business performance at region & boutique level through Global debrief/ OBOS cycle
·  Ensure that OBOS plans and objectives are executed & tracked by both Boutique & expertise partners
·  Build East Region Distribution Strategy & Plan
·  Define FUTURE organization structure evolution of Mega boutique as well as new retail concepts: Les Ateliers, Salon Prives, Shoes Boutique...

A RETAIL BUSINESS OWNER (20%)

·  Lead & own Region business challenge & opportunity : Maximize business performance via qualitative approach through elevating brand image, execution excellence, product strategy, service & client experience at all touchpoints
·  Build Sales Forecast Planning and Set targets with Accuracy aligned with overall company’s strategy in partnership with Merchandising & Finance, including Budget Management to ensure costs control.
·  Drive S ervice elevation to all clients . Elevate Boutique team service mindset & passion focusing on long term  client relationship building
·  Ensure an ultimate luxury client journey at all touchpoints, especially for new retail concepts
·  Ensure Boutique holistic understanding of CEM priorities, data & resources to support better client retention strategies & action at all levels
·  Support & Monitor excellence in retail operations effectiveness and efficiency With RGIM

·  People caring & relationship focused
·  Experienced managing a team of no less than 50 people.
·  English proficiency is a must
·  Fashion / retail / luxury background is a plus.
