Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP RAP Developer with hands-on experience in building modern, cloud-ready SAP applications using the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). The ideal candidate should be well-versed with ABAP on SAP S/4HANA, CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based UI/service development..

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance applications using SAP ABAP and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
. Design and implement CDS Views, Behaviors, and Business Objects within the RAP framework.
. Build and maintain OData V2/V4 services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
. Work on S/4HANA Extensibility, including in-app and side-by-side extensions.
. Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and troubleshooting for ABAP/RAP components.
. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
. Develop Unit Tests using ABAP Unit and support automated test execution.
. Ensure adherence to SAP clean-core and RAP development best practices.
. Support deployment, transport management, and post-go-live fixes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
. Strong experience with ABAP RAP (managed/unmanaged scenarios).
. Expertise in Core Data Services (CDS): annotations, views, metadata extensions.
. Good understanding of OData protocols, service provisioning, and consumption.
. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP development on HANA architecture.
. Familiarity with Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools).
. Experience with Fiori/UI5 integration concepts.
. Good debugging and performance optimization skills.
. Understanding of SAP BTP ABAP Environment is a strong plus.
Good-to-Have Skills:
. Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture using RAP events.
. Knowledge of BTP CAP, Cloud Foundry, or other cloud-native concepts.
. Experience in Git-enabled CTS, Agile, and DevOps practices.
. Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite or API Management..
