Position Description

Finanssi-Kontio is a modern and agile joint venture of CGI and OP-Palvelut Oy founded in 2013 that produces OP-Pohjola Group’s outsourced ICT services with the aim of helping OP-Pohjola Group reach its business objectives. Our projects will be implemented using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Release Train Engineer

As our business is growing, we are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Release Train Engineer to join Finanssi-Kontio. You will work with SAFe based application development projects in the area of Banking and Wealth Management. You will be responsible for delivering projects to our customer on time, on budget and with high quality. You will join CGI’s team of high-performing and dynamic business and technology consultants as a valuable member of the company.

You have proven track record with large project deliveries based on agile methods and you have been leading large project delivery organizations. Financial management is essential in your role. You have demonstrated good leadership qualities to make your team to success. You also have a strong background for blended deliveries and you have been successfully utilizing offshore capabilities. You are process oriented and you have high quality standards for whatever you do.

Required Skills

• Solid experience from complex application development projects
• Knowledge and proven skills in Agile Project Management. Desired to be familiar with Scrum, Lean, Kanban, SAFe methodologies
• Preferable certifications: SAFe practitioner / Safe program consultant, Prince2, Certified Scrum Master & Product Owner, PMP, IPMA-C, ITIL Foundations
• Experience in near-shore / off-shore operations
• MSc or BSc Degree from a related field
• Fluent Finnish and English (written and spoken), capability to communicate efficiently in both languages
