Position Description:

We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our TIDES group. This role is designed for students with high academic potential who want to grow in Node.js technologies and modern cloud architectures. The position requires attention to code quality, excellent academic results, and strong analytical data skills

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Implementing system logic in JavaScript / TypeScript using Node.js.
• Creating and integrating with REST APIs (JSON standard).
• SQL database operations (query syntax, joins, aggregations).
• Designing and understanding data flows (ETL) and system integrations.
• Working in an Agile team using Git.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Master’s degree student (2nd cycle) or final-year engineering student.
• Grade Point Average (GPA) above 4.5.
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of SSR mechanisms and the React library.
• Analytical thinking skills supported by a GitHub portfolio.
• Fluency in English and Polish.

Nice to Have:

• AI/ML basics (working with models, APIs).
• Basic cloud knowledge (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Knowledge of security (IAM, SSO) or DevOps (Docker)
