Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Smalltalk Developer to support applications in the area of timetable creation and planning. The role involves the implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of technical components within complex enterprise applications.

·  Implementing technical components in applications for timetable creation and planning, based on the technologies, interfaces, and modules used in the project

·  Working with standardized development environments and development guidelines

·  Fixing defects identified in production and test phases

·  Documenting technical components

·  Creating system documentation

·  Preparing delivery packages for the relevant applications

·  Performing code reviews and component tests in an automated environment

·  Creating and executing manual and automated functional tests

·  Preparing decision papers on technical topics

·  Reporting risks and issues to technical architects and project management

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  At least 5 years of practical experience with Smalltalk VisualWorks within the last 10 years

·  At least 5 years of solid experience with object-oriented frameworks and design patterns, especially OR mappers

·  At least 5 years of experience writing developer tests based on test frameworks

·  At least 5 years of experience implementing technical solutions in projects with more than 15 team members

·  At least 5 years of experience in agile product development, for example Scrum or SAFe

·  At least 3 years of experience creating and executing manual and automated functional tests
