Position Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As the contractor project manager, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction, management, and oversight for contractor personnel. You will serve as the expert functional guide to employees and interface with government management to resolve problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving contractor personnel issues and establishing priorities of work based on government goals and objectives.

Position can be remote within a commutable distance from Aberdeen Proving Grounds

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate actions related to planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing personnel objectives for the NDTE program.
• Manage project issues such as TDY for contract personnel, personnel labor cost, and delivery of contractual packaging material items for NDTE missions.
• Evaluate complex project requirements and developments, providing recommendations on guidance, resolutions, and expert advice to TACOM Representatives.
• Enforce work standards, develop schedules, review work discrepancies, and communicate policies to NDTE personnel.
• Assist in ensuring adequate staffing, mission travel arrangements, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for successful NDTE missions.
• Provide recommendations for NDTE operations to ensure mission success but will not make operational decisions on behalf of assigned TACOM Representatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Leadership experience performing in a supervisory or team lead position within the past 5 years,
• 2 years of experience managing personnel that utilize mechanical drawings and manuals,
• 2 years of experience managing personnel that perform general electrical control, electronic troubleshooting, circuit-level troubleshooting, and system-level control wiring troubleshooting mechanical drawings and manuals.
• B.S. in Management (Program or Life Cycle Logistics Management preferred) and/or a current Program Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification to demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a full project lifecycle.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required
• Within 20 miles of contractor facility

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $190,900.00.
