Position Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle ADF Developer with 7–10 years of experience in building enterprise-grade applications using Oracle ADF and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise along with the ability to drive technical design, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing business applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust applications using Oracle ADF (11g/12c).
• Architect and implement ADF-based enterprise solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Develop advanced components using:
o ADF Faces
o ADF Task Flows (bounded/unbounded)
o ADF Business Components (BC)
• Integrate REST/SOAP web services with ADF applications.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of ADF applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.
• Work closely with database teams on data modeling, PL/SQL development, and query optimization.
• Manage deployments and configurations on Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and solution design.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills
• 7–10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with strong focus on Oracle ADF.
• Deep expertise in:
o ADF Faces, Task Flows, ADF BC
o Oracle WebLogic Server
• Strong experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with REST & SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and enterprise application design.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA Suite, OSB).
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API-first design.
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React).
• Experience in security implementation (OAuth, SSO, etc.).
• Prior experience in leading teams or modules.
