Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are seeking a seasoned Shell Script, Sybase DB Developer with PL/SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in shell scripting, Sybase DB development, and PL/SQL, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust shell scripts for various automation tasks, data processing, and support the product.
• Create and optimize Sybase DB procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL to enhance database performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to shell scripts, Sybase DB, and PL/SQL.
• Write clear and concise documentation for developed scripts and database objects.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong knowledge of at least one programming language:
• Sybase DB with PL/SQL, Shell Script
Ability to write:
• Clean, reusable, and modular code
• Functions, classes, and basic design patterns
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools, such as:
• Sybase DB, PL/SQL,
• Shell Script
Understanding of:
• Strong proficiency in shell scripting languages (e.g., Bash, KornShell).
• In-depth knowledge of Sybase DB architecture, data types, and query optimization techniques.
• Expert-level understanding of PL/SQL for writing efficient and maintainable database procedures.
• Experience with Perl, Groovy, or KShell is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Shell Scripting, Sybase DB Development, PL/SQL
• Experience with Perl, Groovy, KShell
• Experience with back-end technologies such as PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, or Perl
